AlcoholEdu ~ Haven ~ Transit

Dear Student,

Helena College University of Montana is proud to be among the safest campuses in Montana. Due to recent changes in Federal law, educating students about preventing alcohol abuse and sexual assault is now not only a commitment we uphold, but also a mandate from our Commissioner’s office. All new students to Helena College, taking classes for credit through the college, are required to meet this requirement. To comply with this requirement, all new students must complete three online courses: AlcoholEdu, an alcohol abuse prevention curriculum, Haven, a sexual assault prevention curriculum and Transit, curriculum to develop financial literacy skills. Part I of the AlcoholEdu, Haven and Transit courses must be completed in order to register for future classes.

These courses will include confidential surveys to help personalize your experience. Helena College will only receive information about the student body as a whole, and will never see your answers.

For students beginning in the Fall 2017, Part I is due Friday, September 29, 2017 and Part II is due Wednesday, November 01, 2017.  AlcoholEdu, Haven and Transit are required of this cohort.
